摘 要：中国吉祥文化是东方文化的一处独特景观。它题材之广泛、内涵之丰富、形式之多样、流传之久远，是其他艺术形式难以替代的。它是中华民族历史文化宝库中一笔珍贵的精神财富。即使立于世界艺术之林中，它那独特的东方文化魅力也丝毫不会逊色。吉祥纹样的出现源于吉祥意识的产生。有人类的地方，就有人追求美好幸福，祈望吉祥平安。艺术符号也是沟通人们的桥梁，有人类的地方就有符号。

Abstract: China’s propitious culture is special and unsubstitutable in oriental culture, with its wide themes, abundant intention, various styles and long history. It’s a cultural treasure-house of China. Even in the world art field, its oriental attraction is special. Propitious patterns come from the production of propitious mind. Where there are human beings, people pursue happy life and peace. Art symbol is the bridge connecting people. And where there are human beings, there are symbols.
